Anti-Horror Halloween Films
Horror films are especially easy to find this time of year, but if you're like me, you're not a fan. I can't handle super gory horror films, though non-gory films are getting easier to watch as I get older. Halloween is still my second favorite holiday though, and I've compiled a list of appropriate films to binge on. There's a lot of Tim Burton because I'm a stereotype. Enjoy!
The Addams Family - Of course, right? This is a classic though, and Gomez and Morticia are the ultimate romance. I'd also recommend binging on the series. I'm starting ASAP.
Corpse Bride - Tim Burton film I, and the only animated one on this list. Hang out with the dead.
Sleepy Hollow - Burton film II. Hang out with the Headless Horseman.
Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street - Burton film III, and I'm stopping here. Hang out with a murderous barber.
Hotel Transylvania - This is another animated film, and it's really cute. You've got Dracula as a dad, and every other monster ever. It's a kid's film, not important. It's cute. There's a sequel set to come out next year, and I'll be all over that.
Van Helsing - Apparently this is considered a "bad movie?" Nicole and I share a love for this movie, but apparently a lot of people dislike it, which I've only learned recently. So if you're into bad movies? Oh well. It's about Dracula (not as nice and cute), and Van Helsing, and Hugh Jackman. Hugh Jackman as Van Helsing. It's really good!
Secret Window - More Johnny Depp, what a surprise. This is a thriller that was way different from what I was expecting.
