This is quite a large post. Paris Fashion Week is my favorite out of the month, so this is to be expected. So many looks were elegant and ethereal, combined with the right amount of structure and edge to make anyone feel powerful. Block colors are definitely still a thing (good), especially black, white, and neutral beiges (double good), but I'm obsessed with the different unique patterns and prints. I encourage the use of tulle, and the use of dimension and texture has given me so many ideas. Everything was so dreamy this week, even down to the very last detail (I'm still sobbing over the eyebrows at Christine Phung and the mossy runway at Dries Van Noten). This week has made me want to run away to Paris and dress up and make art every day (like always, go figure).
I'm so sad Fashion Month is over. What now? I think next year I'll break these posts down by day as well. There's something else to look forward to.
