Light & Facial Structure

A few nights ago, I was thinking about lighting and how it affects facial structure. I'm very short, and when I stand in front of my bathroom mirror, the way I angle my head affects how my face looks under the lights mounted over the mirror. It's fascinating, and I think this is why someone can look different in photos than they do in person. I think about this a lot. I think I look a bit different in photos, and maybe this is why. I've got to start taking photos of myself with more light, because this is what shadows do.

This post is just the result of things I think about whilst brushing my teeth.
