Influence

When I was a kid, I was obsessed with the Olsen twins. I read the books, rented the VHS tapes from my local video store, I even had a Mary-Kate doll. As a teenager, I rekindled that fascination. I wanted to dress like them, and wear my makeup like them. I loved their clothing lines, and I discovered Influence. I was really insistent about owning this book, and I ended up buying it second hand. It's been one of my favorite possessions ever since.

It's honestly been awhile since I've gone through it. Since I've been trying to be an adult (emphasis on "trying"), it's been sitting aside because I don't have proper book storage. I recently decided to flip through it quickly, and I thought I'd photograph some of my favorite pages. Obviously there's a lot more to love than this. There's also a few bits that I'm uncomfortable with now. I guess even the best things are not without flaws. Though my love for Mary-Kate and Ashley obviously hasn't really waned.

If you want a flashback of the Olsen twins of yesteryear, get this. It's at least great to go through and find little bits of inspiration.

  3. I think I like the Oslen twins more now than I did when I was younger, just because I actually appreciate their amazing style now. May have to hunt this book down, from what I can see I really like it!
