Some Stockholm Spring '16 Runway Favorites

Though my mind is completely on Autumn now (I just painted my nails a nice, dark coppery color), Spring runway is upon us. Although I should mention I've already done two Spring '16 runway posts (Berlin and Copenhagen). Stockholm is worth mentioning as well, and the big fashion month is only about fifteen days away. Let's get excited.

All but one of the shows I've picked are very much focused on minimalism. They're full of black and white shades, culottes, and shapeless, oversized tops and dresses. It's a dream really. Spring is perfect for clean simplicity. It's nice to keep it easy and float through the day. The remaining show (Ida Sjöstedt) is much brighter. Neutrals compliment bright red, and floral prints are everywhere. Can we please discuss the floral tights? I want some ASAP.

  1. I remember reviewing a few collections from Stockholm fashion week last year and they were wonderfully refreshing, even though not at all stark. Major influences on fashion normally stay within the fashion capitals - new york, london, paris, and milan - so it's always interesting to see how other regions think and observe the world around us, and obviously translate that into clothing. Lovely post!
