Doodle Every Day

You know, you can't win 'em all. Actually, okay, I think I like most of these, but there are a couple I wish I didn't do. Such is life, right? In this nearly two week long set of illustrations, Halloween happened, short, red hair happened, and this blog post set my mind into a spin over green tile. I think I love it? In a shower, at least. As November moves on, I'm obsessing over cozy clothes, dark colors (nothing new), and trying to cope with daylight savings. I love Fall, and the cold weather, and even the long nights, but this is the first year it's really taken a toll on me. I swear it's getting darker earlier. The sun starts to set before five. It's dreamy outside though, and I actually got to wear my coat outside while letting the dogs out the other night. I should confess that it was only sixty-something degrees though. It's cold for Texas, or when you spend your days in a room that feels like an oven.

I'm just really happy it's been cold.

  4. It's opposite where I live, the days grow longer and it's weird to see sunlight out my window at 9pm.

  5. Yay! More doodles! I have a feeling I'm beginning to sound as though I'm repeating myself, but I genuinely really love your illustrations. The candles are wonderfully miniature and what do I think of green tiles? I love them! ;)

  7. Your 'doodles' are absolutely gorgeous!
I love them all, even the simple ones and even the one where you say 'slow days don't work for me' but they must do because even your simple doodle is still brilliant!
I love your blog for your doodles in particular!

    Keep posting!
