A Steal

Can you believe I paid two dollars for these? Not two apiece, two total. They were packaged as an off brand thing in a dollar store, and I picked them up while picking up cheap red tapers for Christmas decor. I'd never tried matte polish before (I know), but for two dollars, I'm going to try it. The matte shades are great, though the metallic options are lacking. They look like you've scribbled on your fingernail with a permanent marker. I've learned that matte polish works really well for my nails, which is a shock. I usually can't keep polish from chipping within a few hours, but this lasts a few days. Unfortunately, it hasn't made me any better at keeping my fingernails polished. It's a whole thing.

Do you ever scope out dollar stores (or your country's equivalent) for random bits (i.e. candles you'll never light)?

I've been styling pieces with Yoins on Polyvore. You can check that out here.
