That's The Last Of It
I can brush my hands off now.
My final farewell to a year gone by is always taking down the Christmas decorations. My mother always said it was bad luck to put them away before the year ends, and it's something that I kind of let slip this year. I took them down last week. Whoops. Coincidentally, we recently had a conversation about things I do because of her, and she said I'd grow out of some of them, and in my defense, I needed the space to set up for something else (and I thought I'd get a blog post out of it). I didn't plan on the offensive cold that took over last week though, so these photos are a little iffy. I apologize. Anyway, I needed my work space back, so I loaded up on allergy medicine and orange juice, and set to taking down my tiny Christmas shrine.
I spent most of December living in that turtleneck and maxi-flannel. Really, I wore it too much. It's great alone, or over jeans, or over yoga pants because why am I going to wear jeans around the house? No. Do you ever sometimes forget exactly what you look like? I forgot my face was so puffed up from sinus issues. As I type this, sinus pressure has teamed up with PMS to make my gums super sore. Much thanks to the dental hygienist who told me it was PMS, and I wasn't just a wimp. Okay, anyway, illness aside, I'm really excited to get back into this. Hello everyone. How's your Tuesday?
I've been styling pieces with Yoins on Polyvore. You can check that out here.
