February Edit

Hello February

I'm feeling pretty feminine right now, and it shows in the pieces I've had my eye on. I'm really into white and lace and red accents, and it's all I want to wear. Anything really pretty and feminine, and I've definitely said goodbye to jeans for awhile. It's fitting for February though. It's supposed to be a romantic month. I know it's commercialized and annoying for a lot of people, myself included, but why not make it your own? Treat yourself and love yourself, and wear what you want. Also, I'm going through a period of wanting a lot of red in my life, which is something I've always reserved for the holiday season. I guess that's not a thing anymore.

My obsession with that "Young American" sweater from The Elder Statesman has been followed by an obsession for this "Rebel Rebel" jacket from R13. I need it. Actually, I can probably make it with a patch and a denim jacket, and it would be so much cheaper, but this is something to show now, for this edit, and it's important. I've also, apparently, rekindled my love for Nasty Gal, and wow, it's real. It's intense. I'm getting into necklaces again as well, and I think skinny scarves are to blame for that. I went through a period of not being able to handle necklaces, but with low necklines and (again) skinny scarves galore, it's probably time to incorporate them again. The two above look like really great statement pieces.

What are you looking forward to wearing/buying this month?
