Goodbye March

My social life in March was non-existent. Literally. I've only left the house to go grocery shopping and visit family on Easter. My creative life however, has flourished. I stumbled into March feeling unfulfilled and uninspired, and I'm leaving March with a return to illustrating, and a return to all night TCM marathons, which really do help believe it or not. I feel so incredibly inspired when I spend the entire night watching old black and white films and brainstorming. March has been refreshing for my mind, and I'm so much better for it. I made up my own illustration challenge to get back into the groove (more on that next week), and I've been feeling so much freer with my paintings. I've been brainstorming more ideas to make this blog as creative as I possibly can, and I'm thinking about revisiting different posts I did when I started this blog. When yachtsmaan began, it was very much a space to post miscellaneous photos from my day and vent. There wasn't as much structure, and there weren't as many "typical" blog posts. I've been thinking about ways I can seamlessly mix the two, and that will begin ASAP. I'm feeling excited about my creative outlets, about my art.

I hope March was good to you, and I hope April brings you amazing things.

  2. I'm happy that you found March as creative as it was. I wish I could say otherwise. My March had too much social interaction for my liking, and my blog diminished due to it. I hope I can rebound with April <3
