Painting Backlog

Let me tell you, dealing with eczema for nearly a month really makes me want to stay away from warm colors. I've seen enough red all over my body. These are a few different pieces I've done over the last month or two, the last one being completed just a few days ago. My usual planning ahead was a bit muddled this week, but it's good, and I'm back on track, and I hate being unwell. I'm finally getting back into the swing of things, and I thought this was a good place to start. I need to be surrounded by clean whites and cool blue tones that make me think of water. Luckily my space is full of these things. I slightly envy my brother for being so close to the ocean right now.

I hope none of you are unwell, and if you are, I hope you're better soon.

  1. I love the colors! they are so calming :)

  2. I like the colors and brush strokes. I envy people with a good mastery of watercolor. It is one of the most difficult mediums.

    1. Thank you Alyse! It's all a matter of finding your own style with the brush.

  3. Blue colours are so calming so I hope they make you feel chill! Hope you feel better soon, sending hugs!!
