I think I officially can't do this dress anymore. However, the thought was there, and I think the mixed stripe look worked. The dress has to go though. I love it for layering in the cooler months, but for Summer? Ugh. That's how I feel about all of my wardrobe though, but I'll end that train of thought there. I've noticed that too many of my posts lately have been focused on my negative thoughts and opinions about the seasons and insecurities, so let's just not today.
I honestly don't have too much to say though. I'm spending this week working on all of my art posts for June, and next week I'll start working on July. I need to be as prepared and ahead of schedule as I possibly can throughout the next four or so weeks, because when M goes into labor, I've got to flee across the state. Normal phrasing. Okay. Anyway, I've spent a lot of time lately thinking ahead anyway, and making rough plans for September onward. I obviously can't speed up time, and Summer will be Summer, so I'm not going to wallow so much. I'm just going to stay as busy as possible, and I think that's working.
The internet was down most of Monday, and I had a minor meltdown. I couldn't figure out how to schedule a post on my phone, and it was a whole ordeal, but I ended up watching The Last Witch Hunter, which I'd never heard of before, and it was honestly horrible, and not even the kind of horrible where you actually really love it. But I sat on a love seat with two dogs for nearly two hours, and the third dog kept growling at very entertaining moments, so I think it was time well spent. However, you'd think that a fantasy film with three actors from three separate and very successful fantasy franchises would be a little more interesting. Or not. But really, did anyone else hear about that movie last year? I definitely didn't, though I do live under a rock.
That's enough rambling today. More tomorrow.
