A Simple Ramble

I'm afraid I've just been without words this week. I've been in a hormone-induced funk this week, and hopefully it'll be over soon. I swear I should write about ridiculous PMS symptoms one day. Until then, I'll continue to ask you bear with me. I'll be better next week. Since I haven't been writing much, I have been following along with the couture shows earlier in the week (and posting my favorite looks on Polyvore and Pinterest), and I've been working on some illustrations. The few I mentioned the other day have practically turned into a mini Summer series, and I've got six or seven that I'll be posting as they're completed, instead of all at once. I'm enjoying forcing myself not to rush or feel pressured to work on paintings and illustrations for the blog, and I really prefer that method. This week I've also had to block news sites from myself because they make me want to cry, and I've watched a good handful of old films.

It's been a solid week so far. How has yours been?

  6. I'm happy to hear you've found a way to work through the symptoms - old films and creative outlets sound just about ideal. Also, I can totally join you on having nightmare PMS symptoms; the worst part for me is stomach cramps that get so intense I throw up and/or can't stand up (lovely stuff, I know). I hope the weekend treats you better than the past week has Amber :)
