Photos From The Backseat

Somehow I managed to not fall too far behind last week, but I was actually out of town from Sunday to Thursday. I was experiencing so many wonderful firsts, including a great variety of colorful, old southern homes and the ocean, and the most wonderful of all, my precious niece. It was really a great week. I adore that baby. I've never been a baby person, but I adore that baby. My niece is perfect, and I'm in awe of her and my brother and sister-in-law. I could honestly go on about her forever, but I think you get my point.

Anyway, I took my camera along to document everything, of course, and though I won't be sharing the personal family photos, I'm definitely sharing plenty of other photos. I took a ton of the ocean (on the beach, not from the car like the few above), which I'll show you all later this week, but I also got a little carried away on the initial Sunday road trip, and I took a ton of photos from the backseat of my parents' car. I then ended up  following up with more on a couple other days. Sometimes I get a little carried away with how beautiful I think Texas is, and how flawless/hilarious I think my dogs are. This is what I did to pass the time. Who knows, maybe I'll turn this into a series...

  2. Love that shot of the hay bales. For some reason I have always found there to be something oddly peaceful about them.
