The Last Non-Seasonal Illustrations Of 2016
We're in the final countdown to Fall! I've already been painting more Autumnal pieces, so I thought I'd go ahead and post the last couple of pieces from the Summer.
I had the most bizarre Sunday. The doors in this house are being painted black, and they look like they're open. Romeo ran into one first thing this morning. There's a big china cabinet (that we call a Shrank, and it was so hard to find the right English phrase, like who am I, I speak English), and there are glass doors on part of it. There are fairy lights taped on the shelves so they light up and show off the mirrored back. I noticed the lights on one shelf were flashing this morning, and I was confused, because no one turned them on the night before. When I went to switch them off, they were already switched off. It was so weird.
My strange dogs did more strange things. Honestly, too many things as the day went on, it would take too long to explain. I watched two and a half documentaries, and spent the rest of my night reading. It was lovely, and I've decided to start treating weekends as actual weekends more often.
How was your weekend?
