Testing Sister Bra Sizes

I have big boobs. Like, massive, back pain, can't wear certain tops, I'm definitely having a boob job some day big. It's incredibly uncomfortable, and I've struggled with finding proper bras for years. While I was out shopping on Sunday, I decided to check the bra section for the one size I knew I fit. After a tiny stress-panic when I didn't find it, because of course I didn't, I remembered reading an article about sister sizes, and immediately did a quick google search. There are a ton of helpful guides and charts to find your own sister size, and you can find the one I used here. My own, for instance, is a 34DD/E. The bras I purchased were 38D.

At this point in time, I've only worn one of the bras once, but it fit just fine, and the two are identical. I knew the trick was supposed to work, but I had my doubts. However, I was pleasantly surprised. It's helpful, and I just wanted to pass the tip along.

PS: Apologies for the extra noisy photos. Storm season is upon us over here.

  1. Gosh, haha I should know more about bras and their sizes than I do - but I don't. I had no idea there was such a thing as sister size? But makes sense though, I have different sizes in my bras and they all work more or less - lol. Anyways, love the photo and how you displayed the bras, gorgeous and creative! Xx

    1. I've only just learned about it, but it's good to know! Thank you Mia!

  2. If there is one thing I hate, it's bra shopping. I am also an odd size, but I have not found sister sizes to be as effective for me. Maybe I need another professional measurement, but gahhhh, I just hate bra shopping so much. Good luck with your sister size though - I love it when those DO work for people.

Also, am I the only one that find photo noise to be somewhat attractive at times? IDK - I like a little grain.

    1. It's honestly horrible. I always put it off until I absolutely have to. I hope you find a solution! And no, I love photo noise, but I know some are put off by it. A little grain never hurt!
