The Easiest Spicy Roasted Chickpeas

We're on a roasted chickpea kick over here. I have made these quite a few times over the last month. They're a perfect quick snack to prepare, and they pack a punch without being too unhealthy. I couldn't not share the recipe.

All you need is: 
  • 1 can of garbanzo beans/chickpeas
  • Cayenne pepper
  • Garlic salt
  • Olive oil
Pre-heat your oven to 450F. Make sure to drain, rinse, and blot-dry the chickpeas. Pour the chickpeas into a bowl. Drizzle a light amount of olive oil over the chickpeas, and season liberally. Spice and garlic are really big in this household, so I use quite a bit. It's really all up to taste. 

When you've seasoned and mixed the chickpeas well, spread them out well on a baking sheet and bake for 25-35 minutes. Make sure you check on them throughout the last ten minutes to prevent burning. Every oven is different. I swear, after you make them once, it's a piece of cake every other time.
